Women's Ministry Director - Tammy Doyle

If you are a woman (over 18 or have graduated from High School), have accepted
Christ as your Savior, and attend Oak Grove, you automatically become part of
Women's Ministries.

The one and only goal of Women's Ministries is to support women in their spiritual
growth. To help achieve this goal we encourage women through fellowship and
participate in missions and service.

Women's Ministries is a vital and vibrant part of Oak Grove! Three Friendship Circles
meet monthly from March through December to hear devotions from God's Word, plan
and organize numerous church activities, and fellowship.

TBA at 7:00 - Friends: Co-chairs Jenny Morrison & Bridgett Jarvis
Devotions and girl-talk held in various homes. This meeting is geared to young
married and single women.

2nd Tuesday at 1:00 - Helping Hands: Co-chairs Olive Isaacs & Connie Harper
A great time for women of any age whose schedule allows them to meet in the
afternoon.

2nd Tuesday at 5:30 - JOY!: Chair - Sandra Brooks
With the working woman in mind, this circle meets at Sandra's house for a spiritual
and social time between the office and home. Fellowship is always different and fun!

Greetings Girlfriends!
How are you? I've been busy at work and miss you all. I'll
try to catch up with you in the next month. April 19th at
10:30 will being our Prayer Lunch and Learn day. It will be
held in Oasis and the theme fro the day is "The GIFT of
Prayer". You will be hearing Kimberly Brooks-Bynes
speaking on Glorifying God, I'll be speaking on Intercessory
Prayer, Kelli Isaacs will speak on being faithful with our
prayers and Jennifer Pinder will close the day with
Thankfulness. We will also have music, games and some
other fun doings throughout the day.
I hope to have lunch catered so please sign up on the
posters in the Church and Life Center. This is going to be
different and I hope you will receive a blessing from the
day.
This would also be a great time to try out our
JOY-full Ministry or bring a friend who doesn't attend Church
anywhere.
As always, take time to enjoy your girlfriends because they
are God's gift to you!
